It’s back to school once again, I hope you bought your kid’s school supplies already and if you still haven’t well the Malls around the Metro is having this craze during the opening of classes. Though, there might be a lot of people who will be cramming around the Malls for the on sale price tag of school supplies such as bags, notebooks, pen, paper and especially the books.

Just a piece of advice, go for the Philippine made supplies it much cheaper and safe. Safety is the first thing that comes to mind. I bet there are some Parents who bought supplies that are made in China. Be cautious about it, though the price is very cheap. Health of your kids will be on the line. I’m not against those China made products, this is just a precautionary measures. As we all know, there are a lot of harmful chemicals that has been reported in the news about made in china products.

Love your own. Buy only Philippine Made products.

    • Hi Franc, I really wanted to insinuate that we should buy Filipino products, we really need to love our own, another thing is the SAFETY!

  1. Nowadays, it is hard to verify which one is safe especially when it is made and comes from China. Although not all but there are just a lot of issues right now.

  2. thanks for the reminder… in so much they want their product to be cheap, using prohibited chemicals should not be an option. safety of our kids first. Yahweh bless.

    • thanks ralph, we should protect our children over these harmful chemicals that has been used from different kinds of products.

  3. I definitely went for Philippine made this year! I promised myself before I went ahead to shop for my kids’ school supplies that I will buy Filipino made products. It’s better quality…Quality over Quantity.

  4. It’s been so long since I needed to buy notebooks… but last time, I tagged along as my friend was buying school supplies… and I couldn’t believe it… there were plenty to choose from but some decent notebooks cost Php35 plus… back when I needed such notebooks… it was just Php20 something…

    • hmm, I think the labor cost and the materials has something to do about the price hike. But at least they are at good quality. 🙂

  5. China products are really cheap but it should be permitted from DTI or DOH, or other government authority.
And yes, being vigilant is the wisest thing to do, otherwise, risk’s target is the kids’ health.

  10. I was looking at the photo of bags. Yes, they may be Philippine made but I have doubts if the makers ever made efforts to get license for the characters they are using because those characters are already owned by other entities. Sana nga may permission, otherwise, it is already tantamount to stealing ones’s property.

  11. This is what I love during opening of school, new notebooks and bag. China products are really cheap that’s why most people opted to their products but yeah right health and safety first. 🙂
