Choosing a Family Vehicle: Qashqai and Ford Mondeo Spotlight

There are many options out there when it comes to vehicles. Though it’s easy enough to narrow it down to certain criteria that are must-haves in a new vehicle, there are still too many options to make shopping for a new vehicle easy. Take looking for a family vehicle, for instance. There are many important questions to keep in mind when looking for a vehicle that’s just right for a particular family’s needs. The difference between the Ford Mondeo and the Nissan Qashqai is just one example of how difficult choosing a family vehicle can be.

The Ford Mondeo is a four door sedan that ends up being on the larger side, making it great for people who like sedans but would prefer something a little more spacious. The price is reasonable for a car of this type and the sleek car that gets plenty of kilometres per gallon would be great for a family that enjoys traveling but not off-road. The Ford Mondeo offers a car that can transition easily from family life, to work life, to college life without standing out. The Ford Mondeo has won awards for being the best family and estate car for three years running.

The Nissan Qashqai is a great hybrid of urban car and SUV. This makes it great for families who want to get off the beaten path when traveling. This vehicle is a compact crossover utility vehicle and, as such, does not seat as many as an SUV would. However, since the Qashqai is a compact vehicle that means that it costs much less to fill it up. The CUV is competitively priced and offers a nice collection of standard features. Though it doesn’t transfer from situation to situation as well as the Mondeo does, it offers a lot more manoeuvrability depending on the terrain. This is a comfortable car for a smaller family that needs more trunk then a sedan offers.

Both are very different cars which as such will suit different types of families. Active families that love to get out there should look no further than the Qashqai it’s fun and unique and gets you places that you couldn’t go in a regular family car or estate.

I do understand about shopping for vehicle. My husband and I had gone through two different vehicles already since we got married. First was FORD Explorer, then now a brand new JEEP. Back then we didn’t have any kids when we had Ford and when we had our first baby, we bought a JEEP. Although the JEEP is not something you would buy when you have kids and want more space, but we love to go for road trips a lot and visit the mountain side so we want something that can survive the terrain. For us the JEEP Wrangler is just more outdoorsy and had 4-wheel drive. Now we have two kids and we still use the JEEP. We love it! Except for the soft top. Never had Ford Mondeo or Nissan before.

we have to consider a spacious car when choosing a family vehicle to give us enough room to move inside and this will be great for family travel too, and of course the economical car to help us save on gas usage. SUV or Mini Van would be good.

the must have vehicle for me is a toyota sienna. its a minivan that has 8 seaters. perfect for a family of a couple of kids. and they are comfortable as well. ford here is the most crappiest car ever. low quality, poor service, and breaks easily. im not sure about nissan though
